OUTSIDE THE STADIUM

As normal, we had our Fanzone outside the South Stand at the Totally Wicked Stadium for fans to come along and get involved with prior to kick off. Former Saint Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook stopped by before heading into the ground.

We had a new Darts game, with regular activities such as face painting, the passing wall and a lot more also available to get involved with.

PRE GAME

Boots did a lap around the pitch prior to the game, as he met fans around all four corners of the Totally Wicked Stadium.

The A Star Saints Angels then performed in the middle of the pitch, facing the West Stand with their routine prior to the game.

We then had lots of Community action on the pitch prior to kick off. Community Clubs came out and held the flags of the two sides, we had flags being waved in front of the West and North Stand and the A Star Saints Angels welcomed both sides to the pitch ahead of the game.

HALF TIME

During the break, a wide variety of Community Clubs were in action in front of the North Stand showcasing their skills.

The A Star Saints Angels then performed again just before the second half got underway at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

THE GAME

Morgan Knowles opened the scoring eight minutes in with a long range effort to give Saints an early lead. Kyle Feldt added the conversion and soon after a penalty, to make it 8-0. Just before the break the visitors grabbed their first points as Davy Litten pounced first on a loose ball to make it 8-6 at half time.

Feldt added two more points early in the second half, before Jack Welsby found Moses Mbye who scored from close range. Feldt added another two points, 16-6. Lewis Martin grabbed a second Hull FC try in the corner to make it a nervy final ten minutes for the Red V but the hosts survived, winning 16-10 against Hull FC at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
