Smyths donate to 2025 SCDF Christmas Appeal
One of our big partners sent a massive donation towards our 2025 SCDF Christmas Appeal earlier on this week!

As they have done in years prior to this, Smyths Toys have once again donated £1000 to the Saints Community Development Foundation’s Christmas Appeal in 2025.
Boots, Billy Dillon, Brad Billsborough and Jamie Fozard headed across James Roby Way and spent one hour walking around Smyths collecting the donation from Smyths.
SCDF Director Steve Leonard commented: “It is great to have Smyths Toys once again support our SCDF Christmas Appeal in 2025.
“The partnership between us has shown that collaboration between likeminded organisations can help to go the extra mile during this busy time of year.
“A massive thank you must also go to our Ambassador Billy Dillon for arranging this to happen. The gifts will help make a difference to people who may otherwise miss out through no fault of their own this Christmas.
Something we are striving to eradicate with all our partners help. There is still time to donate if you wish just drop the item in at the BrewDog Stadium and we will do the rest.”
Community Rugby League Ambassador Billy Dillon said: “The Saints Community Development Foundation’s Christmas Appeal has once again been supported by Smyths Toys Superstore, St Helens. We are increasingly grateful for the continued support that Smyths Toys have shown to the Foundation’s Christmas Appeal over a number of years.
“Many Toys have been Gifted to the SCDF Appeal by Smyths Toys that will enable the SCDF the ability to deliver a little bit of the seasonal joy to many underprivileged or Poorly Children with in the St Helens Borough as parts of our community that may otherwise have very little if anything at all under the Christmas Tree.
“Once again a truly wholehearted THANK YOU to Smyths Toys Superstore for your continued support!”
Smyths Toys is open seven days a week. You can find their opening times below if you want to pay them a visit for presents this Christmas:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am to 9pm
- Saturday, 9am to 7pm
- Sunday 10:30am to 4:30pm
