SCDF host Summer Outreach Camps in Cumbria

The SCDF visited Cumbria last week, as we hosted some Outreach Camps in Cumbria for children to get involved with!

The Camps are Rugby League Development ones, which allows children to come along and craft their Rugby League skills with our coaches.

We visited three different locations during the time that we were in the area. Upon our arrival on the Monday morning, we visited Dalton ARLFC. The team stayed over in the area before heading to Ulverston ARLFC on the following day. On the third and final day we visited Wath Brow Hornets ARLFC, before our coaches headed back to St. Helens.

All sessions ran from 10am until 3pm, with all three days completely sold out with children enjoying getting involved with the sessions.

The SCDF have ran half-term events up in Cumbria the past few years, with lots of children getting involved with them. We hope to return to the area again next Summer to host more Camps for children to get involved with.
