LDSL Saints in action at the Grand Day out

Our LDSL Saints side took to the field in the latest Festival of the year at Blackpool on Saturday!

The event in 2025 had been cancelled due to poor weather conditions but returned with a bang on Saturday, with teams from a wide variety of Rugby League clubs at the event!

The event has been labelled the ‘Grand Day Out’ with 27 LDSL sides and eight PDRL teams all in action at one venue. It was all hosted at Common Edge Community Sports Village, Blackpool.

Our LDSL side took over 25 players to the event, with staff also there on the day as they all got the coach up to Blackpool together.

The next Festival for the team will take place at Thatto Heath’s, Crusader Park on Saturday 29th August. Our LDSL side are back in action before that though, taking part in games on the pitch at half-time of Inclusion Round during Saints’ clash with Castleford Tigers on Saturday 22nd August.
