Allan Rooney visits Qualitech Reminisce Cafe
We had a special guest at the Qualitech Reminisce Cafe earlier on today at the BrewDog Stadium, in the form of Allan Rooney!
Rooney is a commentator for BBC Radio Merseyside. He joined our host Gaz Foster this morning and talked all things Saints, his all-time 13 and memories with his good friend, the late, great Ray French.

He also talked about life now he is no longer in the commentary booth (for the time being) and has a look back some of his favourite Saints players throughout his time covering the club on a weekly basis!
The Qualitech Reminisce Café is a free monthly, dementia friendly event which is open to all. It has the aim of using Saints and the town as a way of triggering memories and instigating discussion.
It’s a fun, warm welcoming environment has been very popular over the past two years and we have a loving, loyal audience. The event also acts as a little respite for carers who do such a wonderful job looking after loved ones on a daily basis.
