Harry Ody visits Qualitech Reminisce Cafe
The second Qualitech Reminisce Cafe of the year took place earlier on today at the Totally Wicked Stadium!
February’s Reminisce Cafe, hosted by the Saints Community Development Foundation, took place earlier on today at the home of the ‘Four in a Row’ Champions. Among those at a very well attended event was Harry Ody, a legend of the Rugby League community around the St Helens area. He is pictured alongside our very own Brad Billsborough at today’s event.
Ody played for local club Clock Face Miners back in the 1950s and is currently the oldest living former player from the club. He collected his centenary shirt from his former club just under two years ago.

As well as Ody, Craig Richards, Katie Mottershead and Jenny Welsby from St Helens Women also showed their faces at the event earlier on today as they took some photos with some of the people attending the Reminisce Cafe.

The Reminisce Café is a free bi-weekly dementia friendly event which is open to all. It has the aim of using Saints, and the town, as a way of triggering memories and instigating discussion.
It’s a fun, warm welcoming environment which has been very popular over the past few years. The event also acts as a little respite for carers who do such a wonderful job looking after loved ones on a daily basis.
The next Reminisce Cafe will be on the 15th March so make sure you write that date down if you want to attend our event at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Please email [email protected] beforehand if you are wanting to attend next month’s event!POSTED ON:
