In Memoriam: Kevin Thompson

Saints Community Development Foundation are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Kevin Thompson.

Kevin was an incredible servant to Rugby League within St Helens, being a longstanding volunteer at Thatto Heath for multiple years, alongside volunteering to support the Saints Community Development Foundation’s LDRL side.

Kevin’s support with the Foundation’s LDRL side created a home for the team at Thatto Heath and the support and coaching he gave was invaluable to so many who played and supported for the side.

As an avid Saints supporter, Kevin could often be found in the stands cheering the Saints on, before giving back to the community game on a weekend. Kevin was always willing to give back to the game and the club wherever he could.

Kevin was a huge supporter of the Foundation, and his contribution to the SCDF will forever be remembered.

Saints Community Development Foundation would like to pass on the condolences of the entire Foundation and Club to Kevin’s family and friends at this very sad time.
