Saints to mark Inclusion Round at Leeds & York Clash

St. Helens will be hosting a Double Header at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, 28th July with the Saints Women taking on York Valkyrie, and then the First Team face Leeds Rhinos in Betfred Super League!

The Saints will be marking the club’s Community & Inclusion fixture, part of the RFL’s ‘Rugby League Together’ campaign!

With Matty Smith’s Women’s side will face York for the second time inside six days, and then a mouth-watering clash as two of Super League’s biggest clubs face off for the third time in 2023 with Saints versus Leeds, so this fixture is perfect to celebrate inclusivity within our club and our sport!

Our very own LDRL team continues to grow, along with some exciting projects in the pipeline, the day, along with both games will celebrate more people getting to participate in the sport of rugby league.

Saints Community Development Foundation Director, Steve Leonard commented on our Inclusion Round saying:

“With both the Men and Women playing at The Totally Wicked Stadium, the opportunity to celebrate our Inclusion round on Friday is the perfect fit.

“We’re excited to welcome members of our LDRL side to the game, along with our fabulous Inclusive Cheer team. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Inclusion Round, with some exciting announcements also coming up soon which will further strengthen our club’s inclusion within the game!”
