SCDF announce full list of Summer Camps

The Saints Community Development Foundation can confirm the dates and times for our Summer Camps over the coming months!

Camps will begin on Monday 24th July, all the way until Friday 1st September, running alongside the school summer holidays for children around the borough.

Monday 24th July

Rugby League Camps will kick off the Summer for us. The Camp will begin at 9:30am and run until 3pm, with children aged between 6-13 able to book their place on the event.

From 10am on the same morning, another event will be held at the Shining Lights Centre in Sutton. The event is Saints Multi Sport and runs from 10am until 12pm in the morning, before another event follows in the afternoon between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. All aged between 6 and 16 are welcome at this event.

The final event of the first day is a UV Sport Camp, which also takes place at the Shining Lights Centre. That event starts at 3pm and lasts for two hours until 5pm. Once again, those aged between 6 and 16 are welcome to attend that event.

Tuesday 25th July

Day two will again begin with Rugby League Camps over at Cowley International College. Like the first day, the event begins at 9:30 and will run until 3pm, with children aged 6-13 able to attend the event.

Meanwhile, over at Allanson Street, Saints Cheer & Dance will kick off their Summer with their camp running from 10am until 12pm, with the afternoon session running from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. Children aged between 5 and 16 are able to attend this camp.

Half an hour after that is over, there will be a UV Dance Party at the same venue, which starts at 3pm and runs for two hours until 5pm. Children aged 5 to 16 are once again able to attend this event.

The final event of day two will see the Under 14’s Nines Tournament at Portico Vine. That will last from 90 minutes from 6pm until 7:30pm.

Wednesday 26th July

The third and final Rugby League Camp of the week will again kickstart the day on Wednesday. Again running from 9:30am until 3pm for those aged 6 to 13.

Cheer & Dance Camps will follow that again, this time at the Shining Lights Centre from 10am until 12pm, and then from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. Ages 5 to 16 are welcomed.

Again, the Cheer & Dance UV Party will follow from 3pm until 5pm, again for ages 5 to 16.

In the meantime, there will be a Under 12’s Nines Tournament between 1pm and 3pm over at Cowley.

Thursday 27th July

10am is the start time for the first event of day four of Camps. Multi Sport will take place from 10am until 12pm at Allanson Street, before the afternoon session takes place from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. Those aged between 6 and 16 will be able to attend the event.

Following that, UV Sports will take place at the same building. That beginning at 3pm and lasting two hours until 5pm. Again, ages 6 to 16 are able to take part.

Friday 28th July

There are two final events on the final day of week one. Cheer & Dance will begin at 10:30am at Broad Oak Community Primary School and last for two hours until 12:30pm. The afternoon session will then go from 1pm until 3pm. The event is for those aged 5 to 16.

Both Saints Men and Women’s teams will be in action that evening, as they welcome York Valkyrie and Leeds Rhinos to the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Monday 31st July

Week number two kicks off with a Goal-Kicking Camp at Cowley International College. St Helens Women’s Head Coach, Matty Smith, alongside fellow former Saint, Gary Wheeler will host the session which begins at 9am and lasts for three hours until 12pm. Those aged from 10 to 16 are able to attend that event.

Over at the Shining Lights Centre, beginning from 10am and lasting until 12pm, is the Multi Sport Camp. The afternoon Camp for that will run from 12:30pm until 2:30pm and it is for children aged between 6 and 16.

Then, from 11am until 3pm at the Totally Wicked Stadium, Saints Activity & Leadership Course will take place for those aged 11 to 16.

The final event of a busy Monday is a UV Sport Camp, which is back at the Shining Lights Centre, which will run from 3pm to 5pm for those aged 6 to 16.

Tuesday 1st August

Goal-Kicking Camps will remain for a second consecutive day on Tuesday. Again running from 9am until 12pm for those aged 10-16 with Matty Smith and Gary Wheeler.

From 10am until 12pm, there are Cheer & Dance Camps taking place at Allanson Street for those aged 5 to 16. The same Camp will also run from 12:3opm until 2:30pm, at the same venue, for the same age group.

Shortly after that kicks off, the Saints Activity & Leadership Course will again take place at the Totally Wicked Stadium from 11am until 3pm for ages 11 to 16.

The final Camp of the day is the UV Dance which takes place at Allanson Street from 3pm to 5pm for those aged 5-16.

Wednesday 2nd August

Day three of week two opens with the Goal-Kicking Camp again at Cowley. Once again it is for ages 10-16 and runs from 12pm until 3pm at Cowley International College.

Cheer & Dance Camps will then again take place from the Shining Lights Centre. Ages 5-16 from 10am until 12pm, and then from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

The final Saints Activity & Leadership Course will again take place at the Totally Wicked Stadium from 11am until 3pm for ages 11 to 16.

UV Dance Camps will be the final event of the day, from 3pm until 5pm at the Shining Lights Centre for ages 5 to 16.

Thursday 3rd August

Only one venue is in use for day four of the second week. Saints Multi Sport again is taking place at Allanson Street between 10am and 12pm, for those aged between 6 and 16.

The same event will take place at the same venue for the same age group, from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

UV Sports then runs from 3pm to 5pm, again at the same venue for the same again group.

Friday 4th August

Broad Oak Community Primary School hosts the final Camp of the week. From 10:30am until 12:30pm there is a Multi Sport Camp for those aged between 6 and 16. Again, in the afternoon, one will also run from 1pm until 3pm at the same venue.

Meanwhile, Liverpool Lions’ Fun Day will take place from 11am until 2pm with lots of mini fun games!

Monday 7th August

Week three will again begin over at Cowley International College. Another Kicking Camp hosted by Gary Wheeler and Matty Smith from 9am until 12pm for those aged between 10 and 16.

From 10am until 12pm at the Shining Lights Centre, there is a Multi Sport event for those aged 6 to 16. Then, from 12:30pm until 2:30pm, the same event will run for the same ages at the same venue.

Meanwhile, at the Totally Wicked Stadium, the Saints Activity & Leadership Course will be taking place from 11am until 3pm. Ages 11 to 16 can attend this event.

The final event of the day is a UV Sports Camp at the Shining Lights Centre. This will run from 3pm until 5pm for children aged 6-16.

Tuesday 8th August

For the second consecutive day, Kicking Camp will kick off the day full of events. Again, running from 9am to 12pm for those aged 10 to 16.

Over at Allanson Street, there is a Cheer & Dance Camp taking place from 10am to 12pm, for those aged between 5 and 16. The same class will then again run from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

Again, at the Totally Wicked Stadium, the Saints Activity & Leadership Course will take place from 11am until 3pm. Ages 11 to 16 can attend this event.

The final event of the day at Allanson Street is a UV Dance Camp which runs from 3pm until 5pm, for ages 5 to 16.

Wednesday 9th August

For the final time on this week, Kicking Camp will return for a third day. The exact same details as the previous two days, from 9am until 12pm, for those aged 10 to 16.

Over at the Shining Lights Centre, Cheer & Dance will again take place for a second consecutive day. Just like the previous day, from 10am to 12pm, for those aged 5 to 16. The afternoon event running from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

For the final time this Summer, at the Totally Wicked Stadium, the Saints Activity & Leadership Course will take place from 11am until 3pm. Ages 11 to 16 can attend this event.

Again, the UV Dance will take place, this time at the Shining Lights Centre, for those aged between 5 and 16 between 3pm and 5pm.

Thursday 10th August

All of the events on this day will take place at Allanson Street.  It begins from 10am until 12pm, as a Multi Sport event takes place for those aged 6-16, again it will also run from 12:30pm until 2:30pm in the afternoon.

UV Sports will then run from the same venue, for the same age group, from 3pm until 5pm.

Friday 11th August

For the final day of week three, we will be based in Broad Oak Community Primary School. Saints Cheer & Dance will run in the morning from 10:30am until 12:30pm for those aged between 5-16. The afternoon event again will run from 1pm until 3pm, and that will be the final Saints Community Development Foundation event of that week.

Monday 14th August

The second and final lot of Rugby League Camps of the Summer will kick off week four. From 9:30am until 3pm, at Cowley International College, for those aged 6-13.

Over at the Shining Lights Centre, Multi Sport will go ahead from 10am until 12pm, for ages 6-16. The afternoon session will then run from 12:30pm until 2:30pm for the same age group.

UV Sport will then follow for the same age group at the same venue, from 3pm until 5pm to round out day one of week four.

Tuesday 15th August

Rugby League Camps will continue into the second day of the week. Again, it will run from 9:30am until 3pm, at Cowley International College, for those aged 6-13.

Meanwhile, at Allanson Street, Cheer & Dance will run from 10am until 12pm for those aged 5 to 16. It also will run in the afternoon from 12:30pm until 2:30pm for the same ages.

The final event of the day is a UV Dance event, which runs from 3pm until 5pm for the same age group at Allanson Street.

Wednesday 16th August

The final Rugby League Camp of the Summer will then take place on the Wednesday. Same time as it has been throughout, 9:30am until 3pm, at Cowley International College, for those aged 6-13.

Cheer & Dance then runs for a second consecutive day. 10am until 12pm at the Shining Lights Centre for those aged 5-16. Again, in the afternoon, it will run from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

Then, from 3pm until 5pm, there is a UV Dance at the Shining Lights Centre for those aged 5-16.

Thursday 17th August

Just the one venue in use for Thursday. Multi Sport will first be held at Allanson Street, for those aged 6-16, from 10am until 12pm in the morning. Following that, the same event will take place in the afternoon from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.

UV Sports will then run at the same venue, for the same age group, from 3pm until 5pm.

Friday 18th August

One venue will again be in use for the final day of the week. Broad Oak Community Primary School will host the final event of the week, which is Multi Sport for those aged 6 to 16, running from 10:30am until 12:30pm. The afternoon session then running from 1pm until 3pm.

In that evening, Saints will be in action at home against Hull KR at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Monday 21st August

Day One of week five begins with Multi Sport at the Shining Lights Centre, running from 10am to 12pm in the morning, then 12:30pm until 2:30pm in the afternoon Ages 6 to 16 are able to attend.

Over at the Totally Wicked Stadium, there is a Saints Activity & Leadership Course which will run from 11am to 3pm, for those aged 11 to 16.

The final event of the day is UV Sport, which runs from 3pm to 5pm, again for those aged 6 to 16.

Tuesday 22nd August

Meanwhile, at Allanson Street, there is a Cheer & Dance Camp taking place for ages 5 to 16, running from 10am until 12pm in the morning, and then 12:30pm until 2:30pm in the afternoon.

For the second day in a row, at the Totally Wicked Stadium, there is a Saints Activity & Leadership Course which will run from 11am to 3pm, for those aged 11 to 16.

To close the day, there is a UV Dance event at Allanson Street from 3pm until 5pm, again ages 5 to 16 are able to attend.

Wednesday 23rd August

Cheer & Dance will again kick off the third day of the week, starting at 10am and running until 12pm, before going from 12:30pm until 2:30pm in the afternoon. Ages 5 to 16 again are able to attend the event.

For the final time this Summer, at the Totally Wicked Stadium, there is a Saints Activity & Leadership Course which again will run from 11am to 3pm, for those aged 11 to 16.

The day again ends with a UV Dance event at Allanson Street from 3pm until 5pm. Ages 5 to 16 can attend that event.

Thursday 24th August

The penultimate day of Camps around the Community, Multi Sport will take place at Allanson Street. Ages 6 to 16 and running from 10am until 12pm in the morning, and 12:30pm until 2:30pm in the afternoon.

UV Sports will then take place from 3pm until 5pm at the same venue, for the same ages.

Friday 25th August

The final Camp around the local community of the Summer will take place at Broad Oak Community Primary School. It will be Cheer & Dance and run from 10:30am until 12:30pm, ages 5 to 16. The same Camp will run in the afternoon from 1pm until 3pm, the final touring Camp of the Summer holidays.

Wednesday 30th August

The final three events of the Summer round out the week. Saints’ Summer Carnival will take place at the Totally Wicked Stadium both in the morning and afternoon. It will begin from 10:30am and run until 12:30pm in the morning, and then we have an hour break before, in the afternoon, it runs from 1:30pm until 3:30pm.

Thursday 31st August

Its the same the following day as well, there are two events, with the morning from 10:30am until 12:30pm, and the afternoon running from 1:30pm until 3:30pm.

Friday 1st September

On the final day of Summer Camps, once again we have the Saints Summer Carnival, which goes from 10:30am until 12:30pm and then 1:30pm until 3:30pm. That will complete our Summer break!
