Two local sides in Challenge Cup Round Two action
Two St Helens based sides were in action during Round Two of the Betfred Challenge Cup this past weekend!
It was good news for Thatto Heath Crusaders, who progressed to Round Three with a 24-32 victory over the Royal Navy in Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon.

It wasn’t good news for fellow St Helens side, Clock Face Miners. They faced Siddal on Saturday, and were beaten 4-38 at home by the Yorkshire outfit.
The draws for Rounds 3 and 4 of the Betfred Challenge Cup will be streamed on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app live from the DCBL Stadium, home of Widnes Vikings, on Monday 29 January at 6.30pm. Those clubs will join the ten winners of this weekend’s Round 2 ties in the hat for Round 3, with the 16 ties taking place over the weekend of 10/11 February.
