Video: SCDF host RugBees event at Portico Vine
Last week we started our 20-week RugBees programme, a new project from the RFL. We had over a dozen young girls aged between 7 and 11 attend the event at Portico Vine, supported by Violet-Grace’s Gift.
We caught up with St Helens Women’s Head Coach, Matty Smith, Women’s Head of Rugby, Craig Richards and current player and former Portico star, Zoe Harris, who gave their thoughts on the event and the continuing growth of women’s rugby league.
If you wish to attend week two of RugBees, the event will cost £2.50, and will be hosted again at Portico Vine (WA10 3PD). Several stars of the St Helens Women team will be at the event, so it is one not to be missed!
