Bold Vets to Cycle in support of the SCDF

David Chana from Bold Vets is gearing up to undertake a charity bike ride, all in support of the Saints Community Development Foundation. As many of you know, David is a keen runner but the bike is a new challenge.

Bold Vets currently sponsor the St Helens R.F.C. Women’s side, being one of the first companies to be shown on the first ever women’s trailblazing jersey.

Bold Vets have a strong passion for their community and want to make an impact in the town that they work in. This is what inspired the decision to be a pioneering business to sponsor the first women’s jersey. The team at Bold Vets met with Saints Community Development Foundation ad have been discussing ways that they can create further impact in the community and spread positive messages to help benefit not only our pet owning community but the places they visit.

David’s Cycle will help raise money for Saints Community Development Foundation, who are currently delivering several programmes in the community. Programmes such as

Learning Disability Rugby League

Wheelchair Rugby League

Building Foundations (Adults mental and physical health programme)

Healthy Hearts (Schools healthy eating and activity programme)

Reminisce Café (dementia friendly programme)

And More!

David’s Cycle will help raise vital funds that help us run these programmes and continue to make an impact our community.

The challenge that David is undertaking is a 105-mile cycle around Anglesey, known as the ‘Tour de Mon’ on Sunday the 17th of August. This cycle will challenge David not only physically but a mental battle to keep his legs driving forward.
