Boots pays a visit to Magic WKND

Magic WKND took place for the Red V on Saturday 3rd May, as Saints faced Leeds Rhinos!

The event returned to St James’ Park in Newcastle, having spent a year at Leeds United’s Elland Road in 2024. Saints were beaten 4-17 by Leeds Rhinos on the evening at the event, with Matt Whitley scoring the solitary points.

This meant that our mascot Boots got to wear the new third kit for the first time. You can purchase the kit for yourself online here. Saints have a new third kit for Magic WKND every year, with the kit in 2024 helping to raise awareness for our community clubs, with their logos all over the front of the shirt.

Boots paraded around the venue, as he met fans outside the ground in the North East. He then headed into the ground and did a lap around the pitch, stopping for pictures with everyone who wanted one.
