SCDF host shirt presentation evening for Wheelchair side

On Wednesday 6th May, we hosted a shirt presentation evening for our Wheelchair Team at the BrewDog Stadium!

The evening marked a landmark moment for the team, as we begin our first full season as a team. Both players and staff have been preparing for this moment for well over a year.

Our Wheelchair Head Coach is Alastair Burrows, alongside our Team Manager Barry Diggles who have both done a brilliant job in getting the team prepared for this moment.

The team will have co-captains for the year in the form of Doyle Kenney and Jason Molloy, with plenty of other experienced players within the playing group as well. It had grown leaps and bounds since our first ever training session, with plenty of people now involved within the Wheelchair setup.

Join us tomorrow at Liverpool John Moores University, for our first ever competitive game against Wigan Warriors, with kick off scheduled for 1pm!
