Saints Community Development Foundation have recently received funding from ‘The Digital Connectivity in Community Facilities Grants Programme’.

Through the support of partners from VOLA and MICT, Saints Community Development Foundation received funding for IT equipment that will go forward to help support our community. Stuart McGrory from VOLA who helped to arrange the funding, along with Tim Bold from MICT, who helped to procure and set up the IT equipment from The Digital Connectivity in Community Facilities Grants Programme.

The Digital Connectivity in Community Facilities Grants Programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority. The funding will help SCDF add another layer of support that it is able to provide for the community. This exciting new opportunity will help provide essential digital access to those that cant access at home. SCDF would like to thank both Stuart McGrory from VOLA, and Tim Bold from MICT for their support in the bid and helping more people receive better digital access in St Helens.

Director of the Foundation, Steve Leonard commented on the news saying:

“We are very excited to receive this funding, It allows us to add another layer of support on top of what we already comprehensive offer. We understand the impact this can have and we are always striving to strengthen our offer in the community and this allows us to do so. We would like to thank Stuart from VOLA and Tim from MICT for supporting us through this process”.
