The Table-topping Dragons – The Community View

Once again, the Community were hard at work behind the scenes on Thursday night, during the game against Catalans Dragons at the Totally Wicked Stadium!

Before everything got underway, we went outside to support the Food Pantry, which will be outside the Totally Wicked Stadium for the remaining games between now and the end of the season.

Once again, we had a table inside the 1873 Lounge ahead of the game kicking off at the Totally Wicked Stadium. We had guests from SCDF partners join us on the table.

From 7:00pm, we moved onto the pitch, as the Saints Cheerleaders had their pre-game routine on the pitch. It ended with a big group photo in front of the North Stand.

Club mascot, Boots then began his walk around the stadium to greet and take photos with fans around all four stands.

Just before the game got underway, our A-Star Saints Angels did their dance in the middle of the pitch, in front of a filling crowd at the Totally Wicked Stadium. They then welcomed the teams out to the pitch.

Also, ahead of the game, we welcomed some community clubs to the middle of the pitch to wave some banners ahead of the top of the table clash.

At half-time the A-Star Saints Angels performed another routine in the middle of the pitch. That ran alongside our community clubs having the chance to play in front of the East Stand during the break, which was full of workers from principal club partners, Home Bargains.

The Angels then headed behind the sticks again, awaiting any second half scores from the Red V, so they could lead the celebrations in front of the famous West Stand.
