From The Ground Comes Light – The Community View

Last weekend, From The Ground Comes Light was hosted at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Saturday and Sunday saw a sold out South Stand enjoy the entertainment!

Before anything got underway, we had lots of events going on within the concourse. That included a silent disco, bouncy castle and lots more. Refreshments were also available at the kiosks.

A weekend full of entertainment and fireworks, was rounded off with the reveal of our 2024 home kit, modelled by Matt Whitley and Tara Jones.

Before the show got underway, our Cheerleaders performed their routines to entertain the crowd at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

St Helens’ Olivia Parr kicked off the event. She sang whilst the crowd entered the stadium and lay the platform with a great performance, to kick off the event.

Dozens of girls had the chance to showcase their dance skills, with numerous routines taking place over the weekend.

Local artist Jack Bennett then took to the stage and got the crowd joining in with lots of popular old schools songs, ahead of the kit reveal.

Then, it was time for the much anticipated 2024 home kit reveal. Matt Whitley and Tara Jones made their way onto the pitch, as fans got their first glimpse at our new home kit.

Whitley and Jones then stopped for a picture with the fans, with the new 2024 home kit on, before they headed down the tunnel and the fireworks show got underway.

The fireworks show ended the evenings at the Totally Wicked Stadium. As fans got to watch a firework show to round off their night of entertainment.
